Realme is coming with another smartphone with the latest Snapdragon 720G

Realme is one of the first smartphone brands in the market which is going to launch a smartphone with the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. CEO of Realme India Madhav tweeted revealing a new smartphone mockup with Snapdragon 720G. The SoC offers fast 4G speeds, improved wireless connectivity featuring the new Wi-Fi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.1. They also support Qualcomm FastConnect 6 along with L1 and L5 dual-frequency GNSS.

Recently Qualcomm has made its formal announcement of its new 4G mobile SoCs targetted for budget devices. The three SoCs include the Snapdragon 720G, Snapdragon 662, and the Snapdragon 460 which supports the new ISRO’s NavIC GPS satellite constellation. Now it’s time for the smartphone brands to showcase how powerful these chips really are.

Among these, the 720G is more likely to have a better performance than the other two SoCs. The 720G will deliver a high-performance gaming experience and this can be used in high-end smartphones. All the details are available on Qualcomm’s website about the Snapdragon 720G.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G is an octa-core SoC that is clocked at up to 2.3GHz and employs Kryo 465 cores for heavy-lifting while the Kryo 260 core cluster will handle less-demanding tasks. The SoC is based on the 8nm fabrication process and relies on Adreno 618 GPU for graphics processing. It also brings support for features such as Qualcomm Quick Charge, UFS 2.1 storage, Qualcomm FastConnect, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive Audio, Qualcomm TrueWireless Technology, and dual-frequency GNSS. The Snapdragon 720G is a 4G-only SoC that offers support for up to 8GB of RAM and also brings Wi-Fi 6 support for improved connectivity.
