Realme GT2 Series launched at the MWC 2022

Realme has launched its flagship GT 2 Series at the MWC 2022. The Series consists of the Realme GT 2 Pro and the Realme GT that was launched in China last month. The Pro variant features the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip and it will be priced at 54,771 INR. The GT 2 features the Snapdragon 888 chip. Both devices are set to get up to 3 years of Android upgrades and 4 years of security updates. Let us take a detailed look at the specs of the devices:

Realme GT 2:

The Realme GT 2 has a 6.62″ OLED display with Full HD+ resolution, it has a high refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The GT 2 has the Snapdragon 888 chip that has been paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

In Europe, the smartphone will arrive in two RAM and storage configurations, an 8GB+128GB one and a 12GB+256GB configuration.

The Realme GT 2 has a triple camera setup on the rear comprising a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera.

In terms of selfies, you get a 32MP selfie shooter on the front. The device has a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

The GT 2 has been priced at 37,889 INR as a part of the early-bird sales.

Realme GT 2 Pro:

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the first device in the world to be designed with bio-based materials. On the rear of the device, the cover has been made from a biopolymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to other non-biodegradable materials.

The Realme GT 2 Pro has a 6.7″ E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels. The display uses an LTPO panel and it gets a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The device has a peak brightness of 1400 nits and a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the top.

In the optics department, the GT 2 Pro has a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP selfie camera. The GT 2 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

In terms of the processor, the Realme GT 2 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. In Europe, the GT 2 Pro will come with an 8GB+128GB configuration and a 12GB+256GB configuration.

The Realme GT 2 Pro will be available in four colors namely, Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, and Titanium Blue.
