Realme, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is preparing for the release of the Realme GT Neo 6 smartphone. Earlier, in May, key specifications of the device, including its display size, chipset details, and fast charging capabilities, were leaked by tipster Digital Chat Station.
According to the leak, the phone will feature an OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and support for 100W fast charging. While fans await the official launch, leakster OnLeaks has provided us with a first look at the Realme GT Neo 6.
The leaked images of the Realme GT Neo 6 reveal a rear setup featuring a triple-camera arrangement, accompanied by an LED flash. Additionally, the press renders affirm that the smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, providing powerful performance capabilities. Additionally, the device will include SUPERVOOC fast charging and NFC support.
The handset will have its power and volume keys positioned on the right side, following a similar design to its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 5. Similar to its predecessor, the Realme GT Neo 5, the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 may feature RGB lights beside the Snapdragon logo at the rear. However, these press renders do not provide any additional details.
Realme GT Neo 6 Specs, Features, and Launch
The Realme GT Neo 6 is rumored to boast an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a potential 144Hz refresh rate, although the exact display size remains unknown. The smartphone is confirmed to come with Qualcomm’s flagship 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Adreno 740 GPU. Previous leaks suggest that the device will house a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, it is expected to have a larger battery that supports 100W fast charging.
The Realme GT Neo 6 is likely to ship with Android 13 out of the box, featuring Realme UI 4.0 on top. Like its predecessor, it may be available in 12GB/16GB RAM configurations with 256GB/512GB of internal storage. The official launch date of the device has not been announced by Realme, but according to previous leaks, it is expected to be unveiled in the third quarter of 2023.
