Last week, the Realme GT Neo 5 was released in China with some impressive specifications. It is the world’s fastest charging phone, with 240W charging support. Under the hood, there’s also a fantastic display and a powerful processor. The device is expected to be released on the global market as the Realme GT 3. However, it appears that the company is also working on a Speed Edition (SE) of the Neo 5.
The Realme GT Neo 5 has a 6.74-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels (1.5K), a refresh rate of 144Hz, and PWM dimming at 2160Hz.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is at the heart of it, and it is paired with up to 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB or 1TB of UFS 3.1 internal storage, depending on the charging variant.
The 150W charging model has a large 5,000mAh battery, whereas the 240W charging model has a smaller 4,600mAh battery. The phone has three cameras: a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (Sony IMX355), and a 2MP macro shooter.
A Weibo blogger is said to have leaked the AnTuTu score of the unannounced Neo 5 SE. The smartphone is powered by the yet-to-be-released Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 processor. The chipset received a score of 1,029,731. The Dimensity 8200 scored 8,62,438 points in comparison.
