Realme introduced the GT Neo 5 earlier this year in China, which was later unveiled globally as the GT 3 5G with up to 240W fast charging support. While there is no official confirmation regarding the launch of this premium smartphone in India, recent indications suggest that Realme is already working on a new phone in the GT Neo 5 series. Rumors suggest that the upcoming device will be called the GT Neo 5 Pro and is expected to be launched in China with high-end specifications.

Realme GT Neo 5 Pro Rumored Specs

The Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is anticipated to be the company’s most premium smartphone in the upcoming weeks. According to the leak by Digital Chat Station, the phone will boast a 6.74-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2772×1240 pixels. It is expected to support a high refresh rate of up to 144Hz and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

In terms of cameras, the Realme GT Neo 5 Pro is rumored to feature a 16MP front camera sensor. On the rear, it is said to house a 50MP primary camera sensor, the Sony IMX890, which also appears in smartphones such as the OnePlus 11, Reno 10 Pro+ 5G, and OPPO Find X6 5G. The leak didn’t provide details about any auxiliary cameras accompanying the GT Neo 5 Pro.

Under the hood, the phone is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This would make it the first Realme smartphone to feature the flagship Qualcomm chipset. It is speculated that the device will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and may offer a generous internal storage option of 512GB or even 1TB using UFS 4.0 technology. Additionally, a 5200mAh battery is rumored to be included, supporting 150W fast charging, with a possibility of a 100W charging variant.

As anticipated, the GT Neo 5 Pro is likely to come with Android 13 out of the box, layered with Realme UI 4.0. While design renders of the phone have not been leaked yet, Digital Chat Station claims that the phone’s back will have a transparent portion similar to the Realme GT Neo 5.
