Realme GT Master Edition hinted by CEO Madhav, pice leaked ahead of the announcement

Word of Realme gearing up to launch a new Master Edition device to the Realme GT 5G has been going around for quite some time now. Today Realme CEO Madhav Sheth added fuel to the speculation that we are nearing the launch date of the device by tweeting the following:

#realme & Fukasawa have collaborated on numerous occasions to launch incredible Master Editions of trendsetting smartphones. These were inspired by subconscious choices & surroundings.

What do you think our next source of inspiration will be?

The Realme GT Master Edition 5G which carries the model number RMX3366 will feature a 6.55″ FHD+ sAMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz and will have curved edges with a punch-hole design. The device had appeared on Geekbench where we got information about the processor that it will carry.

Powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC and featuring an LPDDR4X RAM along with UFS 3.1, the Master Edition GT 5G is expected to come in two storage variants.

Realme could ship it with a 4,500mAh battery but that is merely based on speculation. It will support 65W fast-charging and for camera enthusiasts, it may come with a 16MP+5MP+2MP rear camera but it seems unlikely as the Master Edition ought to feature a better rear camera setup. A differing report claims that the Realme GT Master Edition 5G will have a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor along with a 16MP UW IMX481 sensor on the rear camera setup. This appears to be more plausible in contrast to the earlier rumor.

Both the reports mention the presence of a 32MP IMX615 selfie shooter.

Price leaked

Realme will release the Realme GT Master Edition 5G in an 8GB RAM +128 GB storage variant that is expected to retail for Yuan 3199(36,825 INR) and the higher storage variant, a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant for Yuan 3499(40,315 INR).

We do appear to be nearing the launch date of the Realme GT Master Edition 5G. The device is expected to come in black, white, and faux leather variants.
