Realme has confirmed the launch of its next flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 7, set to debut on April 23 at 16:00 (China time). The announcement on the phone’s official Weibo account suggests some tempting pricing for this phone’s specs. The GT 7 specs should ensure it is a big player in the flagship space, with a competitive price.

As highlighted in the report, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, manufactured on a 3nm basis, will take center stage on Realme GT 7 as the first smartphone to come with the new-age feature for performance and efficiency. The phone will also feature a 144Hz RWGB flat OLED display that BOE designed with eye-care technology, it was said. Other premium features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint and IP68/IP69 rating ensure durability against water and dust.
One of the most impressive features of the GT 7 is its massive 7,000mAh+ battery, which supports 100W wired fast charging. Even with such a big battery, the phone stays fairly slim at under 8.3mm thick and weighs below 205 grams. Realme claims it uses “Ice Skin” graphene cooling tech for heat management that absorbs and dissipates heat six times faster compared to standard glass. The lightweight design is achieved with the help of a plastic mid-frame.
As for the cameras, the GT 7 is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. Focusing on performance, build quality, and battery life, the GT 7 is looking like one of the most competitive flagships of 2024. While the Oppo Find X8s, which also uses the Dimensity 9400+, launched at 4,199 Yuan (approximately ₹47,800), Realme has hinted at a sub-3,000 Yuan price (around ₹34,000), positioning the GT 7 as a flagship killer in both specs and value.
