The launch date of the Realme GT 6 in India has been hinted at, possibly set for mid-June, according to a teaser by a senior company executive. Realme on Thursday announced the upcoming launch of the smartphone in the Indian market, just days after unveiling the Realme GT 6T, and the teaser hints at a launch next month.
The Upcoming Realme GT 6
Very recently, Realme Vice President Chase Xu suggested the possible launch date for the Realme GT 6 in a short video clip on X. A New Tech News Paper which looked like the Realme GT 6 poster given by Madhav Sheth in RealTALK episode 2 Teaser. A bit more eventful was what followed as June 20 was shown in bold, which could have been the launch date for the upcoming flagship from the Chinese company. Xu also said it will soon be available in several languages.
This came after a leak of the phone’s retail box suggested it could perform AI smart removal, AI Night Vision, and AI Smart Search. Regarding pricing, the Realme GT Neo 6 starts at CNY 2,099 (approximately ₹24,000) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the 16GB + 256GB version is priced at CNY 2,399 (roughly ₹27,000). The top-tier 16GB + 1TB model costs CNY 2,999 (about ₹34,000).
According to reports, the Realme GT 6 is likely a renamed variant of the GT Neo 6 that was unveiled in China on May 9. If the rumors are true, we can expect the device to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 895 Pro chipset, and up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. For photos, the device might come with a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX882 sensor and a 32-megapixel front camera. It would also come with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging.
