The Realme GT 5 Pro, another flagship powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, is poised to be officially unveiled this month, although the exact launch date remains undisclosed. Realme has confirmed the November debut of the device, with recent branding revelations shedding light on its key features. The latest disclosure indicates that the phone will be equipped with a Sony Lytia camera sensor.

More about the Realme GT 5 Pro

Rumors circulating suggest that both the Realme GT 5 Pro and the OnePlus 12 may share the same primary camera. While the OnePlus 12 is confirmed to feature a LYT-808 50-megapixel primary camera, the specific Lytia sensor for the GT 5 Pro is yet to be unveiled. Notably, the Realme GT 5 Pro is set to be the first phone to support telephoto Dolby Vision HDR video recording.

Despite the potential shared primary camera sensor, the OnePlus 12 is expected to provide a superior photography experience. This is attributed to its anticipated IMX581 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an OmniVision OV64B 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera featuring 3x optical zoom.

Contrastingly, the expected rear camera setup for the Realme GT 5 Pro includes an IMX355 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and an IMX890 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 2.7x optical zoom. Both phones are anticipated to feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

Additional specifications for the Realme GT 5 Pro encompass a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED 1.5K 144Hz display, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device is equipped with an extensive heat dissipation unit and a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Operating on Realme UI 5-based Android 14, the phone is positioned as a powerful contender in the flagship segment.

While the exact launch date remains elusive, considering the scheduled launches of the Honor 100 series, Oppo Reno 11 lineup, and Red Magic 9 Pro series on November 23, it is plausible that the Realme GT 5 Pro may debut in the last week of November following these events.
