The Realme GT 5, the newest smartphone in the GT series, was introduced on Monday in China. The phone includes a 1TB storage capacity, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU, and up to 24GB of RAM.
A square “Snapdragon” logo can be seen inside the clear glass of the phone, which has a “Flowing Silver Mirror” design that delivers a liquid metal silver texture. A translucent RGB design with four halo light strips is also included. Realme refers to it as Halo Pro. This supports ten distinct contact and application notification light effects.
Realme GT 5 Specifications
The Realme GT 5’s 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED PRO-XDR display features a punch-hole cutout, 144Hz refresh rate, 2772 x 1240-pixel resolution, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.7 percent.
The Realme flagship is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and Adreno GPU. Up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of internal UFS 4.0 storage can be used with the chipset.
Including a 50MP Sony IMX890 camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera, the Realme GT 5 boasts three cameras on the rear and a selfie and video call camera with 16 MP.
There are two variations of the Realme GT 5: one has a 4,600mAh battery with 240W fast charging, while the other has a 5,240mAh battery and 150W fast charging. The smartphone includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, Hi-Res audio, Dolby Atmos, and Whirlwind memory engine 2.0, which can reportedly run up to 76 apps in the background.
