By the beginning of this year, Realme had introduced a new smartphone of its flagship lineup, which is the Realme GT. It was launched on the global platform in the last month and the company is planning to launch the device in India now. Though it seems there is some time before the India launch, in the meanwhile, another shocking news came in the way.
According to a report fetched from Weibo, Wang Wei Derek, President of Realme and President of Realme’s global product line, said that Qualcomm’s next-generation 8 series smartphone processor is already on the way. This means that the company is planning to launch its next Snapdragon flagship processor along with its new flagship device.
Mr.Wang is pointing towards the launch of Realme GT 2 and he is claiming that this upcoming flagship will be equipped with the currently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 mobile processor. According to him, Realme GT was the first to feature the Snapdragon 888 SoC and now its successor is going to feature the next flagship chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon.
Though the launch date for the smartphone has not been revealed yet, but the company might launch its upcoming flagship with the top of the line chipset by the end of this year.
