Smartphone manufacturers are increasingly pushing the limits of battery capacity, with several recent models exceeding the 6,000mAh mark.
Last month, Honor stole the headlines with the launch of Honor Power, the first mainstream device to house an 8,000mAh battery. Well, now Realme has gone a step ahead by launching a concept smartphone that carries a huge battery capacity, which we generally find in power banks and some tablets.

Realme Showcases Concept Phone with 10,000mAh Battery, Slim Design, and 320W Ultra-Fast Charging
The Realme GT concept phone is powered by an enormous 10,000mAh battery, which is expected to deliver several days of use without needing a recharge. To justify this, Realme has worked on a silicon-anode battery which comes with a 10 percent silicon and offers an energy density of 887Wh/L. What’s more, despite packing a massive battery, the device is incredibly sleek, with an 8.5mm thickness and a weight of only 200 grams, making it pocket-friendly for you while still offering enough charge around the clock.
Realme has teased the design of the concept device with an image, which shows a rectangular camera setup and a semi-transparent back cover. Internally, the company has also adopted a “mini diamond architecture” to optimize space and accommodate the large battery. This does not only allow Realme to create the world’s narrowest Android mainboard, measuring only 23.4mm, and has earned the company over 60 patents related to this innovation.
In addition to the large battery, the phone supports 320W ultra-fast charging, providing fast charging whenever the user needs it. Realme had earlier raised the bar with its wired charging solution, 240W on the GT 3 that it debuted in 2023, which continues to be the fastest commercially available charging speed to date.
While this concept phone is unlikely to enter mass production anytime soon, it serves as a bold showcase of Realme’s ambition in battery technology and design innovation. It also hints that similar battery advancements could be integrated into future mainstream Realme smartphones, setting the stage for longer-lasting and more efficient devices.
