Realme C53, the latest addition to Realme’s budget-friendly smartphone series, has been launched in India on July 19. The new Realme C-series device comes equipped with a dual rear camera system, headlined by an impressive 108-megapixel primary sensor. Featuring a water drop style notch display with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, the Realme C53 also houses a robust 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging.

The smartphone offers up to 6GB of RAM and a maximum internal storage capacity of 128GB. With Realme’s Dynamic RAM feature, users have the ability to virtually expand the onboard memory to a generous 12GB.

Regarding its pricing and availability in India, the Realme C53 is competitively priced, starting at ₹9,999 for the base variant with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The top-end model, featuring 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, comes with a price tag of ₹10,999. The device is available in Champion Golden and Champion Black color options and will go on sale starting at 12:00 PM IST on July 26 through Realme.com and Flipkart.

Realme is offering an early bird sale between 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM IST on the same day of its launch. Customers who purchase the Realme C53 using ICICI, SBI, and HDFC credit cards are eligible for a ₹500 discount.

Moving on to its specifications, the Realme C53 supports dual SIM cards and runs on Android 13-based Realme UI T Edition. It sports a sizable 6.74-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, boasting a remarkable 90.3 percent screen-to-body ratio, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 560 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an unnamed octa-core 12nm chipset, running at a peak frequency of 1.82GHz, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. As mentioned earlier, the available RAM can be virtually expanded up to 12GB.

On the photography front, the Realme C53 impresses with its dual rear camera setup, featuring a 108-megapixel AI-backed primary sensor, making it the first device in its segment to offer such high resolution. For selfies, the phone includes an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It also provides ample onboard storage of up to 128GB, expandable via a microSD card (up to 2TB).
