Realme C17 in Geekbench Listing spotted with Snapdragon 460 Processor and 6GB RAM

Realme has already launched a huge number of budget-oriented smartphones of the Realme C series in the past couple of months. Recently, we’ve spotted a new Realme smartphone on the Geekbench database. The codename of that phone was RMX2101. For this, a number of specifications of that device have already revealed. Most importantly, the RMX2101 had also appeared on NBTC certification last month which revealed the market name of that device as the Realme C17. This device has managed to score 253 points in the single-core test and scored 1248 points in the multi-core test. Let’s get into the specifications of that device.

The upcoming Realme C17 will run on Android 10 OS and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC (this is a 1.80GHz octa-core processor), coupled with 6GB RAM. The most interesting thing is, the Realme C17 will be the first phone in this series featuring a 6GB RAM variant. It is also expected that this phone may come with a 4GB RAM variant too. That variant will be more affordable.

It is very interesting that Realme is providing Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC in its C series after quite a long gap. Last time we’ve witnessed this processor in the Realme C1, which was released almost one and a half years ago in India. Now that’s all we have in terms of the specifications of the Realme C17. There is no more information confirmed yet by the company.

If we recall the comparatively older smartphone models of the C series like the Realme C12 and Realme C15, we find that, under the hood, these devices sport an entry-level MediaTek Helio G35 SoC coupled with up to 4GB RAM. In that case, C17 will definitely feature a better processor. Apart from that, C12 and C15 have a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a water-drop notch with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Another highlight of those phones is a battery backup of a huge 6,000mAH battery.
