Best Earbuds under Rs.2,000 budget

Realme Buds Q TWS Ear-Buds with 20 hours Total Playback was launched at the end of last month in India and the first sale started from July 1. So we are here with a long term review of this amazing TWS Earbud from Realme. These earbuds were sold over 25,000 units in the first sale. This Realme Buds Q TWS Ear-Buds is available via Amazon and is priced at Rs.1,999.

Realme Buds Q TWS Ear-Buds are available in three different colours – Black, Yellow, and White. All the colours are all bright and eye-catching.

Design and Controls

The Realme Buds Q TWS Ear-Buds are wireless earbuds powered by Bluetooth 5.0 and are designed very well to fit in the ear. It has a very soft rubber ear tips which are adjustable with three pairs of dedicated ear tips that are given in the box. Both the earbuds are lightweight and each of them is lighter than an A4 sheet. So they feel very comfortable in the ear and feels very lightweight. Overall it will not feel a burden on your ears if you are willing to wear it for a longer time and will not hurt ears even after hours of wearing it.

The carry case has a very pleasant matt finish and has a micro-USB charging port at the back of the case. The design looks very premium. It is magnetic inside that holds the earbuds intact and the lid also.

These earphones have a touch control which is located in the glossy area around the Realme logo on both the earbuds. There are several touch controls for separate functions to be controlled directly from the earbuds without touching the phone.

Instructions to pair:

Open the case and remove the plastic film from the touch areas of both the earbuds. Without removing the earbuds from the charging case, press and hold the touch area of both earbuds for 5s. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone and check the Bluetooth settings page for “Realme Buds Q”. Tap “Realme Buds Q” to pair.

Touch controls:

• To change on the next music touch thrice and to go on the previous music touch and hold for 2 seconds on either of the earbuds. The previous music touch control needs to be customized especially from the Realme Link App.
• To play or pause touch any earbud twice.
• To receive a call touch twice in either of the earbuds.
• To enter Game Mode touch and hold both the earbuds at the same time for 2 seconds.

Comfort and Usage

As mentioned in the design section the comfort of these earbuds are unparalleled. The ear tips are soft and fit perfectly in-ear. It is firm in the ears, and there is no problem of falling from the ear. They are very lightweight. Can be worn for several hours without any pain.

It has a 20-hour battery life and each of the earbuds will go up to 4.5 hours in a single charge. The whole case charges from 0% to 100% within 2 hours. It takes some time to pair automatically, not the slowest but still not among the fastest.

Audio Quality

The audio quality of the Realme Buds Q is amazing. The highs and lows are up to the mark. When the volume is 100% the sound has a soothing effect. The 10mm audio driver is quite good as the sound goes very high when at 100%. The audio quality is good but the earbuds do not support stereo mode. The Bluetooth driver sometimes faces disturbance during longterm playtime and sometimes disconnects and reconnects within seconds if gone a bit far from the device.
