Realme is all geared up to launch its first 5G device power by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, the brand announced the Realme 8s 5G, a device that will bring an ‘all-round’ experience to users with faster performance, longer battery life, and more frames per second while gaming.
Realme and MediaTek have not officially named the device but there is a very strong possibility that the device will be the Realme 8s 5G.
Coming to other specs of the device, we can expect the Realme 8s 5G to have a 6.5″ LCD display with a decent refresh rate of 90Hz. As mentioned it will be powered by the Dimensity 810 5G SoC.
The Realme 8s could feature a triple-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 16MP selfie shooter. The device will pack a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W charging.
Coming to the storage variants, we can expect Realme to release the 8s in 6/8GB RAM variants with 128/256GB storage options. The device will run on Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 out-of-the-box and will have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
It will also come with 5GB of Virtual RAM and have a 3.5mm audio jack. The Realme 8s will have a USB Type-C port.
Realme India and Europe CEO Madhav Sheth teased the launch of the Realme 8s earlier this month, the device comes in a silver variant although we can expect other options as we near the launch date.
There is no official word on the pricing or launch date of the Realme 8s 5G as of yet, but we can expect the device to be priced around the same point as the Realme 8 Series phones. What are your first impressions of the Realme 8s 5G?
