Realme 14x 5G India Launch Set for December 18

Realme 14x 5G is launching in India on December 18 at 12 PM IST, and the company has already revealed details regarding the phone’s design, color variants, features, and more. This new smartphone will act as the successor to the Realme 12X 5G which was previously launched in 2023.

The Realme 14x 5G comes with one of the most standout features IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, which is a major selling point. Realme has also teased that it will be “India’s First IP69 under 15K,” which suggests that the upcoming device will be priced at less than ₹15,000, and will be a budget-friendly option for consumers, who are looking for a 5G smartphone with high durability. Variants with better RAM and storage can potentially be more expensive.

The Realme 12X 5G, which launched at ₹11,999 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, had higher-priced models like the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB versions priced at ₹13,499 and ₹14,999, respectively. The pricing structure of the Realme 14x 5G will most likely be similar. Realme confirming the availability on the Flipkart e-commerce platform and the Realme India website via a live microsite makes it easier to access for buyers.

The Realme 14x 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen. Expected as per rumors the phone also has a 6,000mAh battery, which is enough to keep it running for the whole usage. The device will be available in three storage options: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB.

Camera design teasers show a triple rear camera setup along with an LED flash, but no information regarding the camera sensors has been revealed yet. The phone will be offered in black, gold, and red color options. With the launch around the corner, more details will be coming in, but from the spec sheet so far, the Realme 14x 5G seems like a compelling entry-level 5G device with an interesting set of features.
