Realme 13 Pro+ Specs Leaked: First to Feature Sony IMX882 Periscope Lens

Realme seems to be gearing up to launch the Realme 13 Pro+ in China. There have been many leaks about the camera-centric phone over the last few weeks. Digital Chat Station tipster recently reported some key specifications of an incoming phone. It wasn’t explicitly stated which series they are from in the Weibo post, but reports suggest it is the Realme 13 Pro+.

DCS claimed that the 13 Pro+ will have the Sony IMX882 3x periscope lens and a 1/1.953-inch sensor. Besides, the other manufacturers are expected to use this sensor on their respective flagship devices. The phone is also expected to come with a 50MP main sensor and other cameras similar to the Realme 12 Pro+. The handset will feature a centrally positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera and a familiar circular camera module on the back.

In comparison to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 on its predecessor, The Realme 13 Pro+ will be driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. Earlier reports claimed that the Indian model of Realme 13 Pro+ would arrive in Monet Gold and Emerald Green colors, and will offer four configurations – 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB.

On the other hand, The Realme 13 Pro will be made available in similar RAM and storage versions as well but also Monet Gold, Monet Purple, and Sky Green with listed. We don’t know the specifics of the device as yet, but we should hear plenty more about that in due course — probably within days or weeks.

To sum up, the device is shaping as a major refresh with its groundbreaking use of the Sony IMX882 periscope lens, brawny Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, and various RAM-storage combinations. There is a lot of hype about the upcoming launch and it will be great to see how it competes with other flagship devices out there.
