The Realme 12 Pro series is scheduled for launch in India later this month. The company has officially confirmed the release of Realme 12 Pro series smartphones in the country through a social media announcement. These devices will be made available on the e-commerce platform Flipkart.

Leading up to the launch, the brand has disclosed key specifications of the upcoming smartphones. Both the Realme 12 Pro+ and Realme 12 Pro will come equipped with periscope cameras. The Realme 12 Pro+ stands out with a 50MP OIS camera and a Snapdragon chipset, with rumors suggesting the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor. The company has also revealed that the Realme 12 Pro series will boast a 3X Portrait Mode featuring a 71mm golden portrait focal length, along with 120X digital zoom.
Leaks indicate that the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ will house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoCs, respectively. Both models are expected to feature 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Realme 12 Pro+ is rumored to include a 64MP periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, while the Realme 12 Pro may feature a 32MP periscope camera offering 2x zoom. Additionally, both devices are set to feature a 50MP primary rear camera and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
According to information from the TENAA listing, both the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ will be powered by a 4,880mAh battery. In terms of RAM and storage configurations, both models will be available in options like 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. The Realme 12 Pro series is also claimed to incorporate an ultrawide camera, offering lossless zoom at 0.6x, 1x, 2x, 3x, and 6x, providing users with a comprehensive and seamless zoom photographic experience.
