Tipster Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24) on X disclosed that the Realme 12 Pro+ will be equipped with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Interestingly, the anticipated Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, set to rival the Realme 12 Pro+, is also confirmed to run on the same chipset.
Despite Realme not officially announcing a launch date or confirming the release of the Realme 12 Pro series in India, the company did reveal its new brand slogan on January 3. The slogan transitioned from ‘Dare to Leap’ to ‘Make it Real.’
Leaked information suggests that the Realme 12 Pro+ may feature a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Positioned in the mid-range smartphone segment, the handset is speculated to be priced at around CNY 2,000 (approximately ₹23,000) and is rumored to be the first mid-range handset with a periscope lens.
Anticipated to surpass the specifications of last year’s Realme 11 Pro+, launched at an initial price of ₹27,999, the Realme 12 Pro+ could bring significant upgrades.
