Team News
Real Madrid began preseason training on July 13 at Valdebebas, though Mourinho will be missing several key players still involved in the 2026 FIFA World Cup during early sessions. Expect a squad blend of returning veterans and academy prospects looking to impress the new manager. Fiorentina, fresh off their own preparations in Italy, will use the match to fine-tune their shape ahead of Serie A.
Prediction
With both sides still easing into full fitness, expect a cagey but competitive opener. Real Madrid’s superior squad depth should edge it, but Fiorentina’s disciplined structure could make this closer than a typical friendly scoreline suggests.
