Real Madrid are in talks with four of their key players about a new contract. Luka Modric, Vinicius Jr, Eder Militao and Marco Asensio are all being offered a new deal for an extended stay at the club.

All these players have shown that they are key parts of the first team and have contributed to their success this season. As a result, the board is willing to negotiate and keep them for longer.

Luka Modric to renew till 2023

The Croatian has been as good as ever, and despite being 36, he is one of the best midfielders in the world. Carlo Ancelotti believes that Modric will retire at Real Madrid, and in what could be his last extension with the club considering the 2022 Qatar World Cup, Luka Modric is set to renew until 2023.

Vinicius Jr and Eder Militao to become Real Madrid mainstays

The two Brazilians have been very important for the success of the team this season. Vinicius Jr is enjoying his breakout season, scoring 18 goals and providing just as many assists in 48 games across all competitions.

Eder Militao, on the other hand, is the first choice centre-back in the team and has been remarkable this year. As a result, Real Madrid are willing to offer both Brazilians a deal until 2027 with improved terms.

The last on the list is Marco Asensio, who is in the early stages of talking to the board about a new deal. His deal expires in 2023, and Madrid will have to act fast to prevent losing him for free a year down the line.
