The COVID pandemic has caused us to undergo strict lockdowns and get adjusted to the life of work from home. But apart from that, we have seen many changes around us, especially in the tech industry. In recent times we have grown more dependent on technology, and high-performing PCs have only grown ever since.

We have seen many devices like ChromeBook’s, Tablets, and Mini-PCs becoming extremely popular among the masses. But recently, even the portable SFF gaming PCs have seen a surge in their demand. The performance of the SFF gaming PCs is similar to full-size gaming PCs. But the advantage of these devices is that they are incredibly portable. Recently, Razer has launched its new Razer Tomahawk Gaming Desktop, which the company claims are its ultimate SFF gaming rig.

The new SFF gaming rig’s design is similar to Razer’s popular eGPU enclosures, and size is also feasible. According to sources, the machine is designed around Intel’s modular Next Unit of Computing (NUC) architecture. It allows the buyers to upgrade their CPU in the future along with their GPU.

The NUC contains a 45 W Intel Core i9-9980HK Coffee Lake CPU 8-core CPU and Hyperthreading support. The machine comes with 16 GB of DDR 4 RAM and 512 GB NVMe SSD, and Razer has provided a separate 2 TB SSD for the device. The Tomahawk comes with dimensions up to 320 x 140 mm. The device also ships with an Nvidia Founder’s Edition RTX 3080.

The Razer Tomahawk Gaming Desktop has a 750 W PSU with the connectivity options of 4 USB-A 3.2 ports, 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports and comes along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. The aluminium chassis has a dimension of 10 L 210 mm x 365 mm x 150 and also includes dual top-mounted fans. The device is shipping with the GPU at the price of US$3,200. But without the GPU, you can get the Razer Tomahawk Gaming PC at US$2,400.
