Razer at the RazerCon 2022 announced the Razer Edge 5G, the world’s first dedicated 5G handheld console in partnership with Verizon, after teasing it recently. It is powered by the latest Snapdragon G3x Gen 1 Gaming Platform, and runs on Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband.

Razer Edge 5G Specifications
The Edge 5G is here with a 6.8 inch AMOLED display panel of Full HD resolution (1080 × 2400) and 144Hz refresh rate. It also features a 5,000-mAh battery, which Razer says should keep you gaming for “hours.” Its weight is 264g without the controller and with the controller is 401g and it is 11mm slim.
The Edge 5G is here with taking Snapdragon G3x Gen 1. It runs on Android 12. An 8GB RAM of LPDDR5 and 12GB storage of UFS 3.1 variant available. There is a way of using expandable storage slot up to 2TB. A 5MP selfie camera pointed there with video recording 1080pixel at 60fps.
It comes bundled with the new Kishi V2 Pro, featuring all the award-winning technologies, customization options and features of the Kishi V2 mobile controller, with two additions: Razer HyperSense advanced-haptic feedback and a 3.5mm audio port. There is option for eSIM connection with 5G enabled network. The headphone will be connected via the attached controller.
You can play thousands of AAA games compatible with the device, including native Android games and there are pre-installed launchers like Epic Games, cloud streaming services like Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) and Nvidia GeForce Now, or remote play options that offer full access to PC libraries like Steam Link, Moonlight, Parsec, and Xbox.
The Edge 5G is priced at $399 in the US and is now available for reservations. The Razer Edge Founders Edition, which comes with the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earbuds, is priced at $499. It will be available for purchase in January 2023.
