Ravindra Jadeja ruled out of the ODI series between India and Bangladesh

Things have been going downhill for all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja due to his fitness concerns. After being ruled out of T20 World Cup, he won’t be featuring in India’s ODI series against Bangladesh as well. He hasn’t yet fully recovered. Though he’s a part of the India vs Bangladesh Test squad but he will be playing only if he can recover in time. Shahbaz Ahmed is his replacement in the ODI squad.

Further, the All-India Senior Selection Committee named fast bowler Kuldeep Sen and all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed as his replacements for Yash Dayal & Ravindra Jadeja in India’s tour of Bangladesh. Yash Dayal is suffering from a lower back issue and Jadeja needs more time to recover from his knee injury.

He hasn’t been playing since India’s group-stage match against Hong Kong in the Asia Cup and the all-rounder is undergoing surgery for this issue. His availability for India vs Bangladesh’s Test matches hasn’t been confirmed yet.

His replacement for the Test series hasn’t been named yet. Saurabh Kumar has a chance of being included in the squad. Saurabh has a remarkable aggregate of 58 wickets overall across 12 Ranji Trophy games from two completed seasons.
