Breaking Records Left and Right

Biggest 5th Week Ever: Dhurandhar collected an astonishing ₹51+ crore in its fifth week alone—70% higher than the previous record holder and almost double what most films earn in their entire run!

Sustained Ticket Prices: Unlike typical releases that slash prices post-opening, Dhurandhar maintained enhanced pricing throughout its run until week six, demonstrating exceptional audience demand.

Single-Language Triumph: The film achieved these numbers purely through its Hindi version, without relying on dubbed releases—a rare feat in today’s pan-India cinema landscape.

The ₹800 Crore Challenge

Industry experts predict Dhurandhar will cross the ₹775 crore mark by this Friday and comfortably enter the elite ₹800 crore club within the next two weeks. However, the real test comes with the release of Border 2, which could impact its collections.

The film is already eyeing Pushpa 2’s all-time Hindi net record of ₹812 crore and is well-positioned to become the biggest Hindi film ever at the Indian box office.

Why the Sustained Success?

Stellar Performances: Ranveer Singh delivers a career-best brooding performance, while Akshaye Khanna’s menacing antagonist and ensemble support elevate the thriller.

Patriotic Appeal: The film taps into nationalist sentiment with its gripping portrayal of RAW operations against terrorism.

Word-of-Mouth: Despite an A certificate, strong reviews and audience recommendations kept theaters packed through weekdays.

Holiday Advantage: Strategic December release and sustained runs through New Year helped maximize collections.
