Fans circling September 11 on their calendars for Ranabaali need to make an update. Vijay Deverakonda’s period actioner, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, has reportedly been pushed back — and the reason ties directly to the leading lady’s health.

What Happened To The Original Release Date?

Ranabaali was originally scheduled to hit theaters on September 11, 2026. But according to a report by Gulte, the makers are now eyeing October 30, 2026 as the new release date. The shift comes following Rashmika Mandanna’s recent injury sustained during filming.

Ranabaali: Overview

Detail	Info
Film	Ranabaali
Lead Cast	Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna
Director	Rahul Sankrityan
Genre	Period Actioner
Original Release Date	September 11, 2026

Why The Delay Happened

Rashmika Mandanna reportedly suffered a hip injury while juggling shoots for both Ranabaali and another project, Mysaa. This marked her third injury during production, and she later penned a heartfelt note addressing it publicly, revealing she had hoped to keep it quiet. The actress is said to be recovering well, and with her health being prioritized, the film’s release has been shifted to give the team enough breathing room to finish production properly.

What To Expect From Ranabaali

Beyond the release date shuffle, Ranabaali has already generated buzz for its scale and ambition. Vijay Deverakonda reportedly underwent six months of intense horseback training to prepare for his role in this period drama, signaling just how physically demanding this project has been for the cast.

Vijay Deverakonda, known for headlining several successful Telugu films over the past decade, continues expanding his range with large-scale period productions like this one.

The Bottom Line

While the new October 30 date isn’t officially confirmed by the makers yet, it gives Rashmika Mandanna the recovery time she needs and the production team room to finish this ambitious period actioner properly. Fans will need a little more patience, but the wait might be worth it for a film this physically demanding.
