The wait is finally over — Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana trailer has dropped, and it’s already sending the internet into a frenzy. Releasing on July 30, 2026, this nearly four-minute preview delivers a scale that feels genuinely unprecedented for Indian cinema.

The power-packed trailer runs 4 minutes and 9 seconds, giving fans a high-octane, visually stunning look at the film’s world — from the grand façade of Ayodhya to the golden walls of Lanka.

Ramayana — Cast & Key Trailer

Within the first 10 seconds, the trailer puts to rest any doubts about Yash stepping into the role of the King of Lanka — his portrayal strikes a balance between royalty and unfiltered menace. Ranbir Kapoor’s arc, meanwhile, builds gradually from quiet emotional beats with his father to the moment he strings the bow and commits to his father’s word.

Adding to the anticipation, Oscar winners A.R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer have reportedly joined forces on the film’s score for the first time in their careers — a genuinely historic collaboration for Indian cinema.

Ramayana: Part 1, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra, is set for a theatrical release on Diwali 2026. The film draws from the timeless Ramayana epic, one of the most influential texts in world literature.
