Pushpa 2 shooting is on hold. Allu Arjun‘s upcoming most-anticipated movie sequel named Pushpa: The Rule or Pushpa 2’s production is on hold due to the ongoing stoppage of work. The break has been caused because of the strike called by the producer’s union in the Telugu film industry.

The filmmaker of the movie starring Allu Arjun had planned to take the movie into production in the third week of August. But as this strike took place the producers decided to extend their solidarity along with the strike and will wait till the matter is resolved.
A source close to the director Sukumar has said that the filmmakers are hopeful that the issue would be resolved soon. It is assumed that the shooting will resume at the beginning of September. The source added, “We were all set to start the shooting. But, we will now wait until the strike is called off”.
Until the matter is resolved and some solutions to the problems came out, the producers in the Telugu film industry will put all shootings of the movie on hold. The problems include a rise in production cost, declining footfalls at the box office, regulations on ticket prices, and growing challenges from the OTT platforms.
In the new sequel as per the reports, Allu Arjun is going to be seen in a new look although the first look in the movie Pushpa is also being appreciated by all. The star recently shared a few pictures from his latest photoshoot and fans speculated that this could be his look from Pushpa 2.
The movie series named Pushpa is written and directed by Sukumar. Pushpa: The Rise was released in cinemas in December 2021 and has become a huge blockbuster across the country. The next sequel Pushpa: The Rule is going to be released in theatres most probably in 2023.
Pushpa 2 is going to also stars Fahadh Faasil as the main antagonist.
