India – China’s tension is getting bigger and bigger throughout 2020. Regarding some current activities in Ladakh, the Indian Government has banned the most played game in India, that is PUBG Mobile: Nordic Map Livik and PUBG Mobile Lite both. Not only PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile Lite, and other 116 Chinese-origin apps and games were banned also in one take.

As we all know about the gigantic popularity of this game in the world, especially in India, PUBG corporation is facing a huge loss regarding the ban. That’s why PUBG Corporation has decided to no longer authorize the PUBG Mobile franchise to Shenzhen-based Tencent Games in India. The company is now thinking to take the total responsibility to re-release the game in India once again, but this time without Tencent. The PUBG Corporation is all set to find a hand-in-hand solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations.

As Tencent is a Chinese publisher and India wants to ban everything which is related to China, the PUBG Corporation does not want to take that risk again, and to recover the massive loss, the Corporation has now decided to no longer authorize the franchise to Tencent Games in the country. The company is exploring several ways to bring back this popular game in India in the near future, which will feature a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.

“Moving forward, PUBG Corporation will take on all publishing responsibilities within the country,” the company said in the statement on its website.

“As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.”
