Paris Saint-Germain are one of the most financially strong clubs in the world. Following the QSI takeover, the Parisians have established a large gap between themselves and the rest of the league. As a result, it is no surprise that their squad dominated the list of the highest earners in Ligue 1.

French publication L’Equipe has given an estimate of the best-paid players in Ligue 1. At the top of all the players in the division is Brazilian star Neymar, followed by Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.

Neymar’s yearly salary is around £41 million, while that of Lionel Messi is around £34 million. The Argentinian was once the best-paid player on the planet during his time with Barcelona. However, following his departure from the Blaugrana last summer, his salary has been reduced considerably.

Kylian Mbappe is being given a salary worth £22 million on his current deal with PSG, which expires in the summer. The striker is expected to join Real Madrid on a free transfer when that happens.

Club captain Marquinhos and Marco Verratti are the other players in the top five. The top 14 players on the list are all on PSG’s books, and Monaco’s Wissam Ben Yedder is the break in the chain.

The striker earns a wage worth £6.5 million per season with them, followed by Cesc Fabregas, who earns £6 million per season. Several players from Marseille, Lyon, and Renato Sanches from Lille enter the list between the top 20-30 players.
