Project Motor Racing Arrives Fall 2025 with 70+ Cars, 27 Tracks, and a Trailer Featuring Derek Bell

Project Motor Racing, at launch, will include more than 70 vehicles from 10 racing classes and 27 unique track layouts. Now, however, fans have the chance to see some gameplay, and early impressions have the visuals looking slick and close attention has clearly been paid to the car handling, even in its state prior to release.

The trailer also features a wild stunt with racing legend Derek Bell, who is seen playing the game using a full sim racing rig. His addition reflects the game’s approach to sim racing purists — players who want the most immersive and realistic experience possible. As for content, the game will feature a substantial single-player career mode and online multiplayer. There the competitive leaderboards and “full race weekends” in the multiplayer to give serious racing fans some depth and structure too.

Curiously, development is led by Straight4 Studios, but Project Motor Racing will run on publisher Giants Software’s GIANTS Engine. Giants Software CEO Christian Ammann called this a “major milestone” for the company, one that “strengthens our identity as a game developer and publisher outside of the Farming Simulator series.” “This is a major step for GIANTS Software,” Ammann said. “We want to be known not only for farming simulations but also for publishing high-quality racing experiences.”

Straight4’s CEO Ian Bell added, “This isn’t just driving — it’s racing. We’re introducing what we believe is our most authentic handling system to date, paying tribute to classic sims while pushing the genre into the future.” With strong leadership, advanced tech, and a focus on realism, Project Motor Racing is shaping up to be a major contender in the sim racing world.
