Almost 8000 supporters watched the match. 4,000 fans were also attended Leicester’s FA Cup semi-final win over Southampton at the national stadium a week earlier.

Meanwhile, the number of positive cases in the UK continues to fall. On Sunday, the Government revealed there had been a further 1,712 lab-confirmed cases of coronavirus in the UK. It was a drop of nine percent compared to last week’s figure of 1,882. It is the lowest number since the 1,508 recorded on September 2, 2020, although deaths did rise by one to 11.

The lockdown rules are being eased on April 12 after the decreased COVID-19 cases. The UK government is hoping to win over the pandemic very soon.
