Picture this: the main speaker anchors your living room, and two little satellites sit across the room like a mini surround system. Come party time, you snap them off and take the music to the balcony. That’s the idea behind the new Portronics AuraTrio.

What Makes It Different?

The detachable satellites. The two 15W satellite speakers dock magnetically onto the main unit for storage and dual-sync playback. Pop them off and place them around a room or an outdoor space for a wider, more immersive sound. Each satellite can also work independently, which is handy if you just want a small speaker for a desk or a picnic.

Punchy bass on demand. The main unit’s woofer, twin tweeters and passive radiators are backed by a switchable Bassboost mode, so you can add extra thump for party tracks or turn it off for calmer listening.

Auracast connectivity. Bluetooth 5.4 with Auracast lets the three speakers connect automatically, with no app needed. You can also link other Auracast-compatible speakers to widen the sound further. USB and AUX options mean you’re covered even without Bluetooth, and the satellites have DAC support for extra flexibility.

Built for outdoors. With IPX6 protection on all three units, splashes and rain shouldn’t ruin a garden get-together or poolside playlist. A carry handle on the main speaker makes moving it easy, and the black fabric finish suits most rooms.

Battery Life and Charging

The main speaker carries a 4500mAh battery and each satellite has 2000mAh, giving up to 6 hours of playtime. USB Type-C charging with 30W PD is quick for everyday use.
