Shiny Hunt Central

With 7 new shinies available across 3 evolution families, Wild Area 2025 is perfect for shiny hunting. Ticket holders enjoy boosted shiny odds and exclusive incense spawns for shiny Unown W, Hatenna, and Impidimp evolutionary lines.

Pro Tip: The costumed Bewear wearing a wilderness cape appears in three-star raids and is a must-catch for collectors, as costumed Pokemon rarely return.

Mighty Pokemon & GO Safari Balls

Encounter exceptionally powerful “Mighty Pokemon” spawning in the wild. Use exclusive GO Safari Balls (obtained hourly from Supply Balloons for ticket holders) to maximize your catch chances. According to official Pokemon GO documentation, these special balls significantly improve catch rates for these rare spawns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I Need a Ticket to Participate in Wild Area 2025?

No, all trainers can enjoy the event! However, the $4.99 ticket unlocks the “A Grim Beginning” Special Research, boosted shiny odds, increased photobomb encounters (6 vs 3 daily), and exclusive incense spawns. Free players can still catch new Pokemon, battle in raids, and participate in Max Battles featuring Gigantamax Grimmsnarl.

Which Path Should I Choose: Dark or Fairy?

Choose based on your collection needs and preferred playstyle. The Dark path offers strong battlers like Alolan Grimer and Houndour, while the Fairy path provides Alolan Vulpix and Dedenne. Both paths reward Wilderness Cape Bewear and Impidimp encounters. If you attended the Nagasaki event, you could unlock both badges, but global players must choose wisely—you can’t switch paths once selected.
