India’s Pokémon GO Community Gets Premium Treatment
Niantic has partnered with Nexus Malls to create immersive community hubs where Trainers can connect offline while enjoying exclusive activities. The collaboration spans five strategic locations:
- Nexus Seawoods (Navi Mumbai)
- Nexus Select CityWalk (Delhi)
- Nexus Hyderabad (Hyderabad)
- Nexus Mall Koramangala (Bengaluru)
- Nexus Vijaya Mall (Chennai)
Beyond mall experiences, virtual trainer meetups will occur across 26 Indian cities, from Ahmedabad’s Kankaria Lake to Kolkata’s Rabindra Sarovar Lake.
What Makes This Year Special
The Fire and Water-type Mythical Pokémon Volcanion makes its exclusive debut through limited-time Special Research for ticket holders. First-time Shiny encounters with Carbink and Frigibax add extra excitement to rotating habitat spawns.
“This collaboration allows us to bring Pokémon GO to life in spaces that are safe, accessible, and deeply rooted in local communities,” says Sundarraman Ramalingam, India Manager at Niantic.
The event features exclusive field research tasks, special bonuses, and custom avatars designed to enhance the Trainer experience across India’s diverse gaming community.
