POCO India is done keeping quiet. The brand just dropped a not-so-subtle teaser hinting at the POCO X8 Pro series, with the capitalised “X” in “neXt” doing all the heavy lifting. Two models — the X8 Pro and the X8 Pro Max — are expected to land in India in early March.

What Makes This Series Stand Out

The X8 Pro’s 1.5K TCL M10 OLED panel delivers 2000 nits peak brightness and an eye-care-friendly 3840Hz PWM dimming rate — specs you’d typically find on far pricier phones. The Pro Max steps up with the Dimensity 9500s paired with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU, bringing near-flagship gaming performance to the mid-range segment.

Both models are tipped to run Android 16 out of the box with a metal frame, NFC, and IR blaster as standard. The X8 Pro may also arrive in a special Iron Man-themed edition, making it one of the more exciting limited variants in the segment. The Pro Max model number has already cleared India’s BIS certification, confirming the India launch is very close.
