POCO X6 5G Receives NBTC Certification in Thailand, Hinting at Global Launch

Indicators suggest that POCO is gearing up for the imminent launch of its forthcoming X6 series, based on recent certification appearances that hint at an impending release. Although POCO has not officially communicated any details, the POCO X6 5G has surfaced on Thailand’s NBTC certification platform, identified by model number 23122PCD1G.

There is speculation that it could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, sharing a common codename. Moreover, the POCO X6 Pro recently obtained certification on the NBTC list, leading to suggestions that it might be a rebranded iteration of the recently unveiled Redmi K70E.

Anticipated specifications for the POCO X6 5G include a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The device is rumored to offer up to 16GB of RAM and a spacious 512GB internal storage. The camera setup is expected to feature a robust triple configuration on the rear, comprising an impressive 200MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, a 16MP front camera is poised to capture stunning moments. Powering these features could be a substantial 5100mAh battery with rapid 67W charging support.

If the assumption holds that the POCO X6 Pro is a direct rebrand of the Redmi K70E, we can anticipate the X6 Pro to feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

Fueled by the Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset, the device may support up to 16GB of RAM, providing enhanced AI-related capabilities. Storage options will be intriguing, considering the K70E is offered with up to 1TB UFS 4.0. The X6 Pro is expected to debut with HyperOS-based Android 14.

Additional features such as an X-axis linear motor, stereo dual speakers, NFC, and an infrared remote control are likely to be incorporated.
