Poco X6 Neo: Possible Launch in India with MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC

Poco may be preparing to introduce the Poco X6 Neo in India soon, marking the debut of the Neo branding for the company. While an official launch date has yet to be announced by the Xiaomi sub-brand, a tipster has shared potential details regarding its launch timeline, specifications, and pricing. According to reports, the Poco X6 Neo is expected to be officially unveiled next month, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capability.

According to a tipster named Sanju Choudhary (@saaaanjjjuuu), there are suggestions that the Poco X6 Neo might make its way, to India month carrying a price tag of around or below ₹15,000. Rumors suggest that this smartphone could boast a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz rate and be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC. Moreover, it is said to pack a battery with support for 33W charging along with an IP54-rated build for water resistance and even includes a 3.5mm audio jack.

Recent speculation indicates that the Poco X6 Neo could actually be a version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro, which was originally launched in China back in November. The Redmi Note 13R Pro came with a price tag of CNY 1,999 (₹23,000) for the variant offering 12GB RAM +256GB storage. If these speculations hold true and the Poco X6 Neo does share specifications as its supposed counterpart it would feature a sized OLED display with a high refresh rate and PWM dimming technology at an impressive rate of up, to 2,160Hz. Additionally, this device would be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with memory and storage options of 12GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage capacity.

The rumored new phone, which seems to be a revised version of the Redmi Note 13R Pro is anticipated to come with two cameras; a camera, with 108 megapixels, and a secondary 2-megapixel camera. For taking selfies it might have a facing camera with 16 megapixels and also a fingerprint sensor on the side, for authentication purposes. Moreover, it is expected to have a battery that supports fast charging up to 33W.
