A 6.67-inch center-aligned punch-hole AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,200 nits of brightness is featured on the POCO X5 5G and X5 Pro 5G. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ are additional features of the Pro version. On both devices, the power button is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
POCO X5 5G features
POCO X5 5G has a 5,000mAh battery unit, with the ordinary model enabling 33W charging and the Pro model reaching a maximum of 67W charging.
Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box is the operating system for the POCO X5 5G series. The devices have a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB-C connector, IR Blaster, NFC, 5G, and 4G VoLTE connectivity options. The X-axis linear motor is also included with the Pro model.
The POCO X5 5G and X5 Pro 5G both include triple rear cameras for taking pictures. Compared to the latter, the former sports a 48MP main lens and a 108MP primary sensor. An 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera are also included with the devices. 13MP and 16MP front-facing selfie cameras are available on the standard and pro models, respectively.
While the Snapdragon 778G chipset powers the X5 Pro 5G, the Snapdragon 695 SoC is housed inside the POCO X5 5G. Both models have up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of RAM with dynamic RAM expansion. Another heat-dissipating component of the Pro model is a vapour cooling chamber.
The POCO X5 Pro 5G is available in India for Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 for the 6GB + 12GB and 8GB + 256GB models, respectively.
