Poco X4 Pro 5G launched in India on Monday as the latest model in the POCO X Series. The new Poco device is the successor to the Poco X3 Pro that debuted last year. The Poco X4 Pro was launched at MWC 2022 in Barcelona last month. Let us take a look at the specs of the variant that was released in India.
The dual-SIM Nano Poco X4 Por 5G runs on Android 11 OS with MIUI 13 on top with features a 6.67″ Full HD+ 1080 x 2400 pixels Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and 360Hz touch sampling rate, the display has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection purposes.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chip along with the Adreno 619 GPU and it has been paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM.
In the optics department, the POCO X4 Pro 5G features a triple camera setup with a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. The global variant packed a 108MP primary sensor so it is disappointing to see that the Indian version gets the 64MP one. The front selfie camera is a 16MP lens with an f/2.45 aperture. The POCO X4 Pro 5G arrives with 128GB of onboard UFS 2.2 storage with support for memory expansion all the way up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of connectivity options, you get support for 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, an Infrared blaster, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The POCO X4 Pro 5G has an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The POCO X4 Pro 5G has been priced at 18,999 INR for the 6GB+64GB variant while the 6GB+128GB variant retails for 19,999 INR. The 8GB+128GB version retails for 21,999 INR. The POCO X4 Pro 5G arrives in Laser Black, Laser Blue, and Poco Yellow colors. The first sale will begin on the 5th of April via Flipkart.
