All About the POCO M7 Pro 5G

Recently, the POCO M7 Pro 5G was also seen listed on Indonesia’s SDPPI certification platform under model number 2409FPCC4G. The model number ends with “G” which probably means that this is going to be the global version of the smartphone. The device is slated to be the successor of the POCO M6 Pro 5G which was announced in 2023. The multiple certifications listing is suggestive of a global launch to follow soon, leaving the consumers in anticipation.

While the Indonesian certification does not reveal anything about what to expect from this device in terms of some important specs or features, it does confirm the moniker POCO M7 Pro 5G. More details of the design and a few specifications were released in an FCC listing from September 2024.

The smartphone is likely to feature a dual-tone back panel with an attractive green marble-like finish and will have two cameras placed in a rectangle module. Notable tipster Mukul Sharma has speculated that the POCO M7 Pro 5G might arrive as a cheaper version of the upcoming Redmi Note 14. Camera-wise, rumors suggest we could be looking at a main shooter rated around 50MP with a front-facing display boasting a 1.5K AMOLED resolution.

Powering the device might be the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, ensuring efficient performance for mid-range users. The device is anticipated to run on the company’s Android-based HyperOS custom skin and could offer a minimum of 128GB of internal storage. As of now, POCO has yet to officially announce the M7 Pro 5G, so users should stay tuned for more updates in the near future.
