After confirming the release date of POCO X3, the company is all set to launch the POCO M2 at the same date of launch of the POCO X3. According to reports, POCO M2 is going to be a pocket-friendly budget smartphone from POCO. So we all are going to witness a double phone release from POCO in India on September 8. C Manmohan, GM at POCO India, also confirmed the development of this new model. POCO M2 will be a slightly downgraded version of the POCO M2 Pro to make it a budget phone.
POCO has not shared any pricing information about this phone. But it is expected that this phone could be priced nearer to Rs. 10,000 mark. As this phone will be added to the entry-level segment of POCO, a lower price range is expected for it. We have to wait for the other specifications of that phone to get released.
From the launch poster of that phone, it is expected that the POCO M2 will feature a waterdrop notch display. It will be a value for money phone that will solve all your issues concerning low RAM, poor cameras, and lousy battery life.
POCO has not shared any specifications about the M2. After the announcement of the open sale availability, POCO has announced the release date for POCO M2. Some are expecting that this phone will be a rebranded version of an existing Redmi smartphone, as POCO is a sub-brand of Xiaomi. Tipsters have been tracking an entry-level smartphone with model number M2004J191, which eventually turned out to be the Redmi 9 Prime that launched in India last month. The POCO M2 is expected to be a modified variant of this same handset. To get the answers to each and every confusion, we have to wait till September 8.
