Only three months ago, in May, was the Poco F6 series released. It was therefore anticipated that the Poco F7 series, its replacement, would debut at roughly the same time the following year, most likely in Q2 2025.
However, it appears that Poco will deliver the F-series models more quickly this year. With the same model number, the purported Poco F7 has now obtained EEC certification subsequent to the IMEI listing.

Recently, there was news that the Redmi Turbo 4 with model number 2412DRT0AC had been discovered in the IMEI database. There are rumors that the identical phone, branded Poco F7, may be making its way to other countries, including India. The gadget is identified by the model number 2412DPC0AG for the worldwide edition and 2412DPC0AI for the Indian version.
The Turbo 4 might ship in Q2 2025, even if the “2412” numerals suggest a December release. A few weeks after the Turbo 4’s release, the Poco F7 is anticipated in other regions.
While December 2024 is referenced by the number “2412” in that, keep in mind that Xiaomi and its subsidiary brands don’t usually release new products in the month that their model numbers indicate. The Poco F6 was revealed in May, and the Poco F6’s replacement is likely to be revealed at the same time next year.
The Chinese leaker in question has theorized that the Redmi Turbo 4 may come with either the Dimensity 8400 or a “downgraded” (we take this to imply an underclocked) Dimensity 9300 processor. However, please remember that this is only conjecture. To put it briefly, the Poco F6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
In any case, the Poco F7 is anticipated to be a Redmi Turbo 4 rebranded for the international market. On the other hand, the F7 Pro might be a Redmi K80 under a new name.
