Poco F7 5G Launching in India on June 24 With Snapdragon Chip

The Poco F7 5G is officially set to launch in India on June 24 at 5:30 PM IST, the company confirmed via social media. The smartphone will be exclusive to Flipkart in India for sale and be unveiled globally, along with select markets, on the same day. Poco also teased the launch of the Poco F7 Ultra version, in addition to the regular F7 it launched earlier in the year in March.

In terms of design, promotional teasers have revealed a sleek dual-tone finish in black and silver, with the rear panel bearing the “Limited Edition” label, suggesting this variant may have limited availability. The Poco F7 5G has a vertically placed oval dual rear camera setup along with a pill-shaped LED flash. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), and the Snapdragon logo on the back confirms the use of a Snapdragon chipset—likely the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

The Indian variant will be backed by a huge 7,550mAh battery with 90W fast wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging support. In the meantime, the global model will house a 6,500mAh battery — possibly to meet international standards or weight regulations. The cameras are also expected to include a 50MP Sony IMX882 as the main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and a front 20MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Poco F7 5G could also include a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, IP68-rated water and dust resistance, and a solid aluminium middle frame, making for a premium build.

The smartphone is expected to be priced around ₹30,000 in India. With a flagship-grade processor, high-end display, fast charging, and durable build, the Poco F7 5G positions itself as a compelling choice in the upper mid-range smartphone segment. The Ultra variant’s arrival could offer even more for power users.
