The Poco F6 will reportedly operate on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, according to Android Headlines, which cites HyperOS source code. Operating on the most recent Qualcomm chipset, the Poco phone codenamed “peridot” will be the second smartphone globally. The Civi 4 Pro, which Xiaomi released earlier this month, was the first phone to use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 CPU.
Poco F6 features and other rumors
The leak also claims that a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera will be used in the Poco F6. Both the iQoo Z9 5G and the outgoing Realme 12 Pro 5G employ the same sensor. There are rumors that the camera configuration will also incorporate an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 super wide-angle sensor. The internal model number is allegedly “N16T.”
The Poco F6 has been the subject of persistent rumors for a while. David Liu (@DavidBlueLS), a Poco Global executive, appears to have verified the device’s existence recently. Alongside the Poco F6 Pro, it is expected to go official in April or May. Prior to its announcement, there were rumors that it might launch as a renamed Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
It is anticipated that the Poco F6 would have improvements over the Poco F5 5G from the previous year, which was released in May of last year and cost Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
Additionally, according to the source, the smartphone will be released in a number of areas outside of Japan. In the next weeks, more information regarding the future phone should become available.
