POCO F4 5G spotted on Geekbench, confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 870

POCO F4 5G is also said to be armed with Snapdragon 870, according to the Geekbench listing. Poco is set to extend its F4 series with a new smartphone i.e. the Poco F4 5G. In April, the Chinese phone maker announced the Poco F4 GT which the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor charges.

The organization hasn’t yet disclosed the spec sheet of the next device. However, Poco India has shared a tweet from its official Twitter account that has confirmed the chipset that will charge the handset. According to the Poco India tweet, the F4 5G smartphone will feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC. The company is anticipated to disclose more information about the next smartphone before its launch.

The upcoming device might also have a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED display that will likely support a 120Hz refresh rate. Some images of the gossiped F4 5G device were also leaked and the smartphone was also spotted on Geekbench which confirmed the phone’s 8GB RAM.

It is anticipated to be a restated version of the Redmi K40S and the only difference between the two phones will be the primary camera. The next device may feature a triple-rear camera setup that will include a 64MP main camera with OIS support, instead of the 48MP primary sensor present in the Redmi device. The smartphone’s display may also have a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The upcoming handset may include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and a 4500 mAh battery unit with 67W fast charging support. According to the Geekbench listing, the smartphone is anticipated to run on Android 12. The device will also be armed with LiquidCool 2.0 technology comprising a vapor cell and 7-layer graphite sheets for heat bust. We can anticipate POCO to release more features of the upcoming F4 5G in the coming days.
