In the realm of smartphone releases, Poco has been quite active this year, introducing three C-series phones—namely the Poco C50, Poco C51, and Poco C55. However, it seems that the brand isn’t slowing down, with indications pointing towards the development of the Poco C60 series. A recent report from Xiaomiui sheds light on some preliminary details about the upcoming Poco C65 and the Redmi 13C, both of which have made an appearance on the TKDN certification platform.
The Upcoming Poco C65 and Redmi 13C
The report’s findings reveal that the Poco C65 has made its way into the IMEI database, with separate model numbers designated for its global and Indian variants—2310FPCA4G and 2310FPCA4I, respectively. This points to a possible dual-market release strategy for the device.
Referred to with the internal codename “air,” the Poco C65 is reported to be equipped with a MediaTek chipset, with the internal model number C3V. The presence of “2310” in the model numbers has sparked speculation that the device may make its debut as early as this month, in October. In terms of software, it’s anticipated that the Poco C65 will run MIUI 14 based on Android 14. Additionally, it’s expected to feature modern amenities like a USB-C port.
Interestingly, the report suggests that the Poco C65 could essentially be a rebranded version of the Redmi 13C, which has yet to be officially unveiled. This conjecture is backed by the model numbers 23100RN82L (presumably for Latin America), 23108RN04Y, and 23106RN0DA, which are thought to be linked to the Redmi 13C.
Recalling a report from the previous month, it offered a sneak peek at the Redmi 13C’s design. The leaked images depicted the presence of a teardrop notch display on the front and a noteworthy 50-megapixel triple camera configuration on the back. Furthermore, the images showcased the device in an array of colors, including black, blue, and light green. Regrettably, concrete details about the device’s specifications remain elusive at this point.
