The Plaguemancer Unveiled

The Plaguemancer, a magic-type unit belonging to the beast faction, is the highlight of this update. With its unique ability known as “Plague Time,” this character has the power to infect enemies. What makes this ability even more intriguing is that the infection damage inflicted by the Plaguemancer increases as the character levels up. This strategic element adds depth to the game, making Defense Derby more engaging and competitive than ever before.

Derby Brawl – Plaguemancer Mirror Match

To celebrate the introduction of the Plaguemancer, a thrilling new mode called “Derby Brawl – Plaguemancer Mirror Match” has been incorporated into the game. In this mode, all players start with the same deck that includes the formidable Plaguemancer. This creates an even playing field where strategy and skill will determine the victor. However, this exciting mode is only available for a limited time, until September 14, so players should dive in while they can.

Random Hero Mode – Embrace the Unexpected

In addition to the Plaguemancer Mirror Match, the update introduces “Random Hero Mode.” In this mode, players assemble their decks with units, artifacts, and castle skins, while the hero is randomly selected at the beginning of the battle. This twist adds an element of surprise and challenges players to adapt their strategies on the fly. Random Hero Mode will be available from September 15 to September 28, providing a unique gaming experience for a limited period.

Seasonal Rewards and Exciting Prizes

With the start of the Curing Swamp season, players can look forward to various rewards and prizes. The Season Check-in offers valuable items like 1,000 Cubics, 24 hours of Gold, and 24 hours of Elixir simply for logging into the game. Depending on the number of days logged in, players can unlock even more rewards, including Crystals, Plaguemancer Emotes, and for those who log in for seven consecutive days, a Rare Plaguemancer card. Players also have the chance to obtain the Plaguemancer through the Shop of Blessings and the Lucky Draw.

Gameplay Enhancements and Balancing

This update doesn’t just bring new content; it also includes several important gameplay enhancements. The Unique Faction Bonus has been introduced to the Derby Mode, offering players new ways to strategize and compete. Additionally, various balancing adjustments have been made between factions to ensure a fair gaming experience. Deck switching costs have been adjusted, and weekly quest rewards have been changed to Gems, providing more flexibility and opportunities for players to progress. Moreover, the grade and level settings for player balancing in Friendly Derby have been fine-tuned, ensuring that matches remain competitive and exciting.
