The Bosnian international who has been signed by Barcelona recently as a part of the Arthur swap deal has been tested COVID-19. He is supposed to join at the Camp Nou for the upcoming season that starts next month.

However, now as FC Barcelona reports, the player will not join for pre-season and he is self-isolating for his recovery:

Miralem Pjanic has tested positive in a PCR taken on Saturday 22 August after feeling a little unwell. The player is in good health and is self-isolating at home.

The player will therefore not be travelling to Barcelona for 15 days, when he will be expected to report for duty with the FC Barcelona team.

So, it would take some more time to completely recover from the Coronavirus and to join Barca. We hope he gets back to his feet soon to make his debut at the Camp Nou.
